چکیده

Switching frequency acts as a major role, while applying sliding mode control to dc-dc buck converter, switching frequency is affected by line and load variations. To reduce switching frequency deviation to line and load variations, an adaptive feed forward control is used, that varies hysteresis band according to the change of input voltage. Several methods of varying hysteresis band of the hysteresis modulator are possible. In this work adjusting the power supply is to be considered. An adaptive feedback control scheme that varies the control parameters (i.e. sliding coefficient) according to the change of output load is proposed. This paper presents a complete investigation into the problem and gives the effectiveness of the desired solutions. In this method implementing the proposed adaptive control strategies are discussed, simulation results gives that the adaptive control methods are capable of reducing the switching frequency variations, simulation have been done in MATLAB /Simulink to verify the results.

SLIDING MODE CONTROL BASED ON FRACTIONAL ORDER CALCULUS FOR DC-DC CONVERTERS

The aim of this paper is to design a Fractional Order Sliding Mode Controllers (FOSMC)for a class of DC-DC converters such as boost and buck converters. Firstly, the control lawis designed with respect to the properties of fractional calculus, the design yields an equiv-alent control term with an addition of discontinuous (attractive) control law. Secondly, themathematical proof of the stabilit...

Transient Response Improvement of DC-DC Buck Converter With Adjustable Sawtooth Signal

Transient response performance is very important in DC-DC converters. It measures how steady the output voltage is maintained when the load changes suddenly. For single inductor dual output (SIDO) converters (1)~(4) that work in continuous conduction mode (CCM), the transient response affects cross-regulation: if the load of one sub-converter changes, the output voltage of the other sub-convert...

Abslrad : Some practical methods --r implementing the sliding-mode control law to control the buck-type converters are introduced. The control equations are derived from the basic slidmg-mode control law to accommodate the conventional fiied-frequency pwm control method. As a result, the overall feedback control systems can be expressed under a form similar to state-feedback control where the v...

Sliding Mode Control of a Bidirectional Buck/Boost DC-DC Converter with Constant Switching Frequency

In this paper, sliding mode control (SMC) for a bidirectional buck/boost DC-DC converter (BDC) with constant frequency in continuous conduction mode (CCM) is discussed. Since the converter is a high-order converter, the reduced-order sliding manifold is exploited. Because of right-half-plan zero (RHPZ) in the converter’s duty ratio to output voltage transfer function, sliding mode current...

An Intelligent Algorithm based Controller for Multiple Output DC-DC Converters with Voltage Mode Weighting Factor

Multiple output DC-DC converters are widely used in many applications such as aerospace, industrial and medical equipments. The purpose of this paper is to present an intelligent control system for the multiple output DC-DC converters. In order to perform this purpose, a double ended forward DC-DC converter with three output voltages (+5 V/ 50W, +15 V/ 45W and -15 V/ 15W) is considered and anal...
